Who would you choose and why?

Having never spoken to, collaborated with or met either of them I could not possibly chose.

If you have a choice make them give you some incentive.

My PhD supervisor has done more for my career progressing than I can ever repay her for. She is retired now but without the bond we had during my studies and further I would never have achieved as much as I have.

A good supervisor is very difficult to chose.

Who would you choose and why?

Talking hypothetically I would go with Reisman purely based on the compounds which have been synthesised are more appealing to me.

Both labs are very well respected and doing excellent work.

On paper I would lean towards Reisman - I find the chemistry more appealing, but that's just a personal preference.

You should meet both in person and chat to the group members before deciding though. You need to work in a group you'll get on with.

I would choose Reisman I think just because the group is smaller. The Stolz group has more researchers than the whole department where I study so thats why. But you should visit their labs and talk to them etc.. thats better way to choose that ask on internet imo.
