g = green I presume?

Probably just the wording of it. The green house effect produces a warm environment in which we live naturally, the enhanced greenhouse effect will cause an increase in this temperature, true, but your teacher is most probably wanting you to understand why this happens and not simply that it happens. :)

If you want to get full marks you will have to explain how the green house effect works and why the enhanced greenhouse effect warms the earth even more. The more information you can put the better. The warming process is simply a product of the greenhouse effect and so it is not enough to just say the greenhouse effect is the warming of the Earth because this is not telling anyone how or why this happens.

I take it the link I gave you before on this topic was insufficient.

I read that CO2 will absorb more heat than oxygen and nitrogen. An increase in the CO2 concentration would mean and increase in the amount of heat trapped in the atmosphere creating a warming effect.

CO2 emmissions are one of the main blames for the greenhouse effect, but methane, nitric oxide, and CFC's  also cause the greenhouse effect to become more intense.  Nitric oxide and CFC's also destroy the ozone layer (most notably CFC's, but I have heard that Nitric oxide does damage as well)
