magnesium reaction
« on: July 30, 2014, 02:12:14 AM »
Hey everyone, I'm really new to the world of chemistry. I'm talking 3hrs new and so interested in learning everything.

My question is:

What do I get when I mix Magnesium sulfate (Epsom salt) and sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) together in distilled water?

What do I get if I mix magnesium hydroxide with citrus juice from a lemon or lime? Do I get magnesium citrate and magnesium malate?

Will Borax (sodium borate, sodium tetraborate, or disodium tetraborate) mix with hydrochloric acid to form Boric acid?

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Whoa, plenty of questions here.

Do you know any rules that can be used for predicting reaction result?
