What to do with 14/mt of N-Vinylcarbazole?

I work for a recycling company, we get weird stuff all the time and 14/mt of N-Vinylcarbazole ended up at our warehouse. no body knows what to do with it, Any ideas?

If it's new, you can do really nice things with it... 14 tons probably from a photocopier producer, rather than OLED and other exotic uses. The polymer is photo-conductor, can be doped for permanent conduction, and so on and so forth.

Thanks for the input, we got it from a canceled xerox project, it's still in sealed barrels and I think its german made. So do photocopier producers not use this material anymore?

Sell it to Sigma Aldrich.  ;D

I see them selling 100 g for ~$200. You'd be a multimillionaire pretty soon.

On a more serious note, if it's discard from Xerox asking Canon if they want some cheap seems like one option. Some digging shows Canon does have a fair bit of patent activity on this material in the last 10 years so they might indeed want some.

Based on Patents I'd try Bausch & Lomb, BASF and Honeywell too.

I'd have added Eastman Kodak too but not sure if the poor guys have any money left for luxuries. :)
