Dissociation of H2SO4
« on: August 28, 2014, 06:26:30 AM »
Hi, I need to work out the heat, in KJ, required to dissociate  1 kg of H2SO4 into H2O and SO3.
I know I have to use enthalpy which is -814 for H2SO4
any advise please?

Enthalpy is in KJ/mole
just convert your Kg into moles and use mathematics
for 1mole  -energy is given -convert it into energy in moles in 1Kg of H2SO4
