specific heat question
« on: February 01, 2015, 12:04:05 PM »
Any help would be appreciated! I need to find the final temp of a specific heat equation.  I am given the specific heat at 1.339 j/g degrees Celsius, the heat required is 530 joules, the mass is 25.5 grams, and the initial temp is 25 degrees Celsius.  The formula we were given is H=SH*M*(T2-T1) but I cant figure out how to change it to the formula I need to find the final temp.

What have you been given? Rearrange the equation in terms of T2

In other words - what is T1? What is T2?
