What will the transition state look like for this reaction?
« on: February 26, 2015, 12:54:30 PM »
The starting materials for the reaction can be seen in the attachment. I'm wondering about the transition state(s) because I am performing a computational study on the Diels-Alder reaction and need an input structure for Gaussian to work with. Any prompt assistance would be appreciated!

You must show an attempt before we can help you.  What conformation does the diene need to attain in a Diels-Alder reaction?
