Hi everyone,

I am looking for leuco dyes, which are colorless in their relaxed state, but can be reversibly excited to a colored state with light.

After many days sifting through the literature, I still did not find the molecule I am imagining: The dye should have a high photostability and fast relaxation kinetics (<100 ms).

Please help a biochem grad student who is trying to understand chemical literature!
