Virtual Lab help

I'm almost done my chemistry class (final unit) and only now have run into a road block. 

I have a beaker of 0.01 M KMnO4.


Beaker 1: 100 mL of 10 M H2SO3 and 100 mL of 10 M NaHSO3. Label this beaker acidified.

Beaker 2: add 200 mL of 10 M NaHSO3 (use two of the flasks). Label this beaker control.

Beaker 3: add 100 mL of 10 M NaOH and 100 mL of 10 M NaHSO3. Label this beaker basified.

Now I added 100 mL of 0.01 M KMnO4 to each of the three beakers.

What are the chemical equations for the reactions that took place? Explain why there was solid precipitate in all of the beakers.

Beaker 1 appeared bright pink, beaker 2 was clear and beaker three was bright green.  They all had a small amount of precipitate. 

Please help.  Thanks.

It is redox chemistry ..check all the reactions taking place in every beaker.
