hi all, is it possible to connect 2 different types of columns of GS/FID?

Well, it is possible, I seem to recall you had to have two columns to analyse GLP + heavier phases. I suggest to check procedures associated to petroleum analysis to obtain more info.

Can you be more specific about the analites/ goals?

thank you thelastone,
we are aiming to analyse VOC in the air. Some compounds are polar and some are non polar. So 2 types of columns are in usage currently.
