why is boyles law a curve?

The law says PV= constant so should the graph look like a straight line and not a curve?

If pV=k then if we imagine V=1 then the p increases and for p=1 / 2 / 3 you get pV=1 / 2 / 3 so its not constant. However if you have V=1 / 0,5 / 0,333 and p=1 / 2 / 3 then pV=1 thats why its not a straight line.

Ok I realize my error in thought now. I think I need to re-take algebra. ::)
