Ketone reaction with Et3N
« on: May 11, 2015, 09:09:23 AM »
I just wanted to check what I've done so far in this question is right, and what happens after Et3N is added. Does that form an enolate? And then with the other reagent I have no idea  ??? Thanks!

You might try naming the compound below triethylamine.  That might provide a clue as to its chemistry.
