NMR Open *.dx file
« on: June 25, 2015, 11:27:32 AM »
Hi,

I am trying to open a *.dx file to plot the spectra. I dont mind plotting in excel or similar package if I can extract the data.

Can anyone recommend some freeware nmr software which will allow me to do so?

Apologies If this is in the incorrect forum category - please move accordingly.

Thank you in advance

This is the best forum for finding something like this out.  What make or model of instrument, or better yet, name a version of software are you using.

thanks for your reply
That's just the thing, I dont have any software.

I believe the data was recorded using a Bruker BioSpin.

It's a .dx file and I just want to extract the data and play with it in ms excel.

I think you may need to get the freeware from ACD labs. This allows to to manipulate FIDs and subsequent NMR spectra.
