Measuring Na and Cl seperately
« on: July 06, 2015, 09:53:59 AM »
As per the title, I want to measure Na concentration and Cl concentration in water. Concentrations 0-30 g/L. Could I do this by measuring total conductivity and Na via icp aa, calculating Cl from those? Can you recommend other methods?

What are other things possibly present?

At first, just demiwater. Later a bacterial biofilm wil seperate two compartiments in which measurements take place. Suggestions for either situation  are welcome.
