hey i was wondering if you guys can help me out with these few questions, im not sure if what im doing is right.

1. Draw Lewis and structural diagrams for methylamine. ( i think i got this one but just to check to
    make sure)

2. Use VSEPR theory to predict the shape around the carbon and nitrogen atoms in methylamine.

3. Methylamine and ethane have similar molar masses. Explain why the boiling point of methylamine is -
6 degrees Celsius while that of ethane is -89 degrees celsius.

4. Since amines are bases they react readily with acids. Use structural diagrams to rewrite the
following equation for the reaction of methylamine with acetic acid. (Please use microsoft paint!)

5. Explain how vinegar or lemon juice can be used to reduce the odour of fish.

thanks a lot ppl =)  Grin
