Help with sulfitation of epoxides

 Hi everyone
 Am a PhD student from Nigeria.  I'm currently having challenges in the sulfitation of vegetable oils. I keep on getting a milky oil mix which is not soluble in water after the addition of NaHSO3 to the epoxidized oil. Can anyone help out pls?
