« on: July 27, 2015, 04:39:26 PM »
What is incorrect in the following hydrocarbon name:

3-propyl-2-butene

                 CH2CH2CH3
                  l
CH3 - CH = C - CH3

Can someone figure out why this nomenclature /compound is incorrect ?

Thanks  :)
