Problem with sodium lauryl laureth sulfate

This may seem weird 
but I need to turn sodium lauryl laureth sulfate
into I powder form
I have if in a gel form
I tried mixing it with corn starch to dry it out but I field
please help me

Why not just buy some more in dry form?
