IC Column (ICS 3000)
« on: September 18, 2015, 04:44:47 AM »
Hi,

I'm in a laboratory currently running the Dionex/Thermo Fisher ICS3000 instrument. We are having a problem with out Column, our parameters are set that when the column reaches 30 degrees it is ready for analysis, however our column temperature isn't reaching 30 degrees. when it does reach 30 degrees it begins to slowly drop in temperature until analysis can no longer be run.

Has anyone got a solution to the dropping column temperature?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Neal

It seems that column doesn't play an important role in that problem.

Check the method of the analysis: have you programmed that the analysis should only be carried in the range of 30±0,5 ºC? Have you programmed the oven maintain that temperature?

Btw what are you analysing?

Hi,

Sorry for the wait, were analysing potable water matrices, all methods are set as we require them, we put the air conditioning unit in the laboratory on and it seems to have fixed the issue, at least for now.
