About Click Chemistry
« on: October 01, 2015, 11:49:58 AM »
Hi,
I read a lot of literatures about the click chemistry between an alkyne and an azide. I just wonder if it is possible for alkene and azide to undergo such cycloaddition reaction?

Indeed it is, under certain circumstances.

Check out this paper: J. Am. Chem. Soc. 2015, 137, 2958−2966
When in doubt, avoid the Stille coupling.
