Molecule in organic layer (Extraction)
« on: February 11, 2016, 01:06:37 PM »
I got a homework on the extraction method (or liquid-liquid) and the question ask me:

In the following molecules, what are the ones we can find in the organic layer?

Note: Got 1 hour to submit my homework and this is the last question I cannot answer :c
EDIT:Homework sent but still want to know how to solve that thing.

In one case, you have essentially the same molecule with one change.  What does that one change do?  Will the same change effect other molecules in your list?

This is how we help on this forum.  We give hints, to help you learn for yourself.  That's in the Forum Rules{click}
