recation rate
« on: April 29, 2016, 08:53:43 AM »
hey,
Im trying to understand how to solve this question...
For the reaction:
2N2O5( g ) --> 4NO2( g ) + O2( g ) , k(25C)= 1.73*10 ^-5 sec^-1
what is the reaction rate if p(N2O5)=0.35atm, V=8L, T=25 C

how do I solve it? I have no data of the delta concentration, and I cant find the concentration based on this data...

You don't need concentration data; you need a rate law. You are not given one, but you should be able to work it out; the units of k give you a clue.
