4 short questions
« on: June 12, 2016, 06:46:06 AM »
Hello, (sorry for my bad english in advance)

There is a big problem doing the VERY LAST chemistry "homework"....and even with google it seems impossible to answer those questions and the deadline is almost reached....so I give it a try posting the unanswered questions here:

1. Which amino acids are in this connection?

2. Which of the following monomers in polymers are there?
(Point 1 and 2 separately in the picture)

3. Draw a Polymer-structure when the monomers are:

1. propene? (maybe wrong translated) (in german: Propen)
2. 2-methylbut-2-ene

4. Is this polyamid or not?  . if YES they call the name of the monomers

Okay :X There are like 7 Pages...and 5 of them are done...
It's the LAST homework before graduation (all tests are done and successfully passed)
We are allowed to use our excercise book and Internet...and those 4 examples are even hard to answer with a book from the library :/

Here is the proof:

I dont know how else to show that I tried...maybe i can make a photo of the excercise book :X

The translation is in the first post :/

There are quite easy problems, eg:
1. cut amide bond (hydrolysis) and identify two aminoacids from which one is very common.
2. Find a repeating fragment containing at least 2 carbon atom (more for 2.2).
3.1 Just google for: propene polymer
3.2 Compare with 2.2. Something like to, isn't it?
4. See 3.1

Hopefully by now, you have read and understood our forum rules.  We want to see your work, for the problem at hand, in this thread.  But in case you're still unsure, or someone else needs it to be more clear ...

The generous attitude of your class does not erase our rules.

Sorry, the fact that you have done other work, does not count for these 4 questions, on our forum.

Try AWK:'s suggestions, and let us know if you're still stuck.
Hey, I'm not judging.  I just like to shoot straight.  I'm a man of science.
