Soil Analysis
« on: August 16, 2016, 09:38:36 AM »
Hello,

I would like to do some soil analysis: I mainly want to know the quantity of NPK ( nitrogen potassium phosphorus )
and boron, zinc, magnesium, calcium, in my soil.

I found some docs about soil analysis but I don't have the equipment required.

So I would like to know if you know some tests which could be done in a "standart" lab, I don't really care if I get approximate measures.

Thank you!

Garden stores sometimes sell some spot tests for assaying these soil nutrients, but I can't say how accurate these wet tests are.  If you need any sort of accuracy at all, you could ask the local department of agriculture for testing labs.
Hey, I'm not judging.  I just like to shoot straight.  I'm a man of science.
