In HPLC column what does I.D. mean
« on: October 29, 2016, 03:31:06 AM »
I have two questions in HPLC
When they refer to a column as 5mm I.D.
What does I.D. stand for??

Also, in Van Deemter equation, lower C value or higher C is better?

Lets work together on this one.  I'll go look up the Van Deemter equation, in the meantime, you type it here, put a small number for c, and a large number for c, and see what happens to the result.
Hey, I'm not judging.  I just like to shoot straight.  I'm a man of science.
