mass balance doubt
« on: November 16, 2016, 02:44:01 PM »
I need help in solving a mass balance related question. If a dry substance contains calcium carbonate and one calculates the the fat content and wants to deduct the fat content of calcium carbonate from the final answer how could one do that?
For example a dry power of 50 g contains 10 g of Calcium carbonate
Fat analysis of the dry powder reported 6% fat how to deduct the fat accounted by calcium carbonate using calculations?

Can you post the whole problem? The way you worded and explained it it doesn't make sense.
