So who else in the informal chemical education community is going to ACS SF this fall? Since, I'm right next door in Berkeley, I'll try to organize a little get together with some people from the staff and regular visitors to the website. It'll involved drinking, maybe food, although food interupts me from beer.

I plan to be in most of the chemical education seminars pimping CF. Maybe I'll even make a flyer, people at conferences love flyers  ::). I'll also be buging the nature bolggers. Poor Joshua...

If anyone is going and or needs a place to crash announce here.

Most Common Suggestions I Make on the Forums.
1. Start by writing a balanced chemical equation.
2. Don't confuse thermodynamic stability with chemical reactivity.
3. Forum Supports LaTex

What's the ACS Event called?
"Say you're in a [chemical] plant and there's a snake on the floor. What are you going to do? Call a consultant? Get a meeting together to talk about which color is the snake? Employees should do one thing: walk over there and you step on the friggin snake." - Jean-Pierre Garnier, CEO of Glaxosmithkline, June 2006

Yeah, I'll be setting something up so that anyone interested in meeting can do it at a local bar in SF. It'll be awesome.
