Yes, gas becomes a solvent. It is exactly the same situation as with water condensing on the solid from the air in deliquescence. Deliquescence can produce a solution in conditions in which water doesn't condense alone to create a liquid phase.

Could you call it a liquid adduct/complex? Like BF3·Et2O or Et3N·3HF
