resolution and selectivity factor
« on: December 26, 2016, 08:17:56 PM »

Hi could someone plase explain the difference between the selectivity factor
and reolution in chromatography?

Both of them seem to be a measure of seperation of components of interest..

Would it be correct to say that selectivity factor is the stationary phase's ability to
seperate 2 components of interest while resolution is that of a column's?

Thank you.
