Small question about reaction
« on: January 07, 2017, 02:37:31 PM »
I have a problem with this reaction:    CO + H2  :rarrow: C7H16
And my question is: what is happening with oxygen from carbon monoxide?

This is not a reaction. At best it is a synthesis scheme. Google for Fischer–Tropsch process.

This is a reaction within Fischer-Tropsch method. For balancing it you must add another reagent (which is evident) on the right side.
