V2O5+H2O+EDTA
« on: January 26, 2017, 12:32:06 PM »
Guys..I need some guidelines on this...It's kind of urgent...

If we add V2O5, H2O and EDTA...will EDTA reduce V5+ to V4+
If so what should be the optimal ratio of these three compounds to achieve the same...
how to decide?

With my limited understanding,
I suppose that V2O5+H2O+EDTA will lead to the chelation of 'V' with EDTA.

So is it right to take 2 mole of EDTA for every 1 mole of V2O5 along with 5 litres of H2O for the complete reaction?
