line intercept in excel

Hey just im trying to do an intercept of the line generated from my data in excel . I have drawn the line in here in red using paint but wish to do it properly in excel .


can anyone shed some light on this for me :)

I'm not really sure you can easily.

I would quit Excel sooner rather than later... but that's your decision. (or maybe not).

I can't help you, but the keyword you might want to look for is "interpolation".

I believe Excel can give you the best fit formula to your data points, in any of a number of ways.  Once you have the formula, you can find the exact values for any point on the line.  So I'm left wondering, why you need the intercept.

Another option is to numerically calculate the second derivative and find where it crosses zero.
