Finding equilibrium pressure of particular species
« on: February 19, 2017, 09:55:51 PM »
I'm given the equation: Cl2(g) + I2(g)  ::equil:: 2ICl (g). Along with this, I'm also given that there are 1.01 atm of both Cl2 and I2 in 1.0 L, and that Kc=18.6. I'm asked to find the equilibrium pressure of I2. The answer was 0.32, but I got 0.27. Would anyone mind checking my work to see if I made a calculation error? Thanks in advance
