Xylan from Corn Core
« on: March 16, 2017, 02:19:03 AM »
Good day!

I would like to ask if somebody here knows the chemical form of xylan in powder form. I want to purchase a chemical product called "xylan from corn core" but the manufacturer does not specify the chemical structure in their product details. Most sources say that xylan is mostly a polymer of arabino-4-o-methylglucuronoxylan but I imagined that it may only exist in that form in the plant structure. I want to know what form it takes in the extracted form as a powder.

I tried to email the manufacturer but sadly there was no response. I could wait for them to do so but I need the information soon. I hope someone can provide any useful info.

Thank you!
