I know it can vary but I'm curious if there's a particular one (para, ortho or meta) that usually has a higher chemical shift than the rest?

It depends on electron density at each position, which varies depending on the substituents (e.g. electron-donating and -withdrawing substituents have opposite effects) - if you google chemical shifts of aromatic H (or similar) you will find lots of detailed explanations.
