« on: March 30, 2017, 01:51:02 AM »
Hello Im currently taking a biochemisrty lab course . I was tasked with coming up with a 10 minute video about enyzme kinetics. im suppose to talk about the basics while making it entertaining to watch. I just wanted some ideas that I could use towards making the video.

What about illustrating the difference between ordered sequential and ping ping kinetic mechanisms?

okay,I didnt think about that. Any other ideas? One idea that kept popping up was pretending to be "crooked" dealer of some sort and incorporating police as the inhibitors. and the rate at which i sell my "crooked" product would be km, etc.

I like your idea in that it is out-of-the-box thinking.  KM is the substrate concentration that brings about the half-maximal rate; it is not really a rate in itself.
