Stoichiometry
« on: May 19, 2017, 05:59:28 PM »
Hi :)
Here I have a balanced redox equation:
8 H2O + 2 Mn2+ + 5 S2O8 2- → 2 MnO4- + 16 H+ + 10 SO42-
The question is: How much potassium peroxodisulfate is needed to produce 316 g of potassium permanganate?
I got 1350 g of K2S2O8, is this the correct answer?
Thank you very much in advance!

Looks OK to me.
