Dear Members,

Will you please guide that how to do qualitative analysis of unknown mixture, The mixture may contain inorganic compounds as well as organic compounds. Count of  compounds present in the mixture is also unknown. Which steps should i take to do qualitative analysis of mixture.

Thanks

There are thick books on the subject, have you tried finding and reading them?

Like Borek: said, your question is practically impossible to solve, as written.

As was said, this is a thick book, at best.  More likely a dozen.

The mixture may contain inorganic compounds as well as organic compounds.

That complicates the problem incredibly, and you just toss it in casually.  That makes this question disappointing.

Count of  compounds present in the mixture is also unknown.

This is not how qualitative analysis is done.  Its a waste of resources and time to straddle the analytical chemist with a problem that is written like a guessing game.  It simply isn't done.

Even before learning years of techniques, a better question has to be written.

Thanks for the detailed response as i know how to do qualitative analysis on organic or inorganic compound when it is known i am analyzing only one compound but in case of mixture i dont know how to proceed..? Is their any method for such type of problem.

Thanks

Not really, no.  You are still not clear enough.  But summarizing in a general sort of way, analytical chemistry isn't done the way you've described so far.  You have to know, in general, what you're analyzing.
