I'm currently learning about resonance. My textbook uses the terms resonance structure and resonance hybrid

What is the distinction between the two terms, and how do they relate to the diagrams in the following link:

Also, in which situation would I use which diagram?

I use the term resonance hybrid to mean the set of all resonance structures that describe a chemical species.
