Ibotenic Acid to Muscimol

What would be the mechanism or steps of the decarboxylation of Ibotenic acid to muscimol? This reaction is normally done by heating the cap of the Amantia Musicaria for a few hours.

Please note: per forum rules we don't discuss drugs here. Discussion of the mechanism is OK as long as you don't get into practical details of the synthesis. This thread will be watched.
