Using Manual Injection with an Autosampler
« on: January 19, 2018, 04:59:10 PM »
So the transport assembly on my lab's Agilent 1100 G1313A autosampler (older than dirt, I know) has s#*$ the bed. In the meantime we would like to still run samples through the HPLC via manual injections. I cannot seem to find any information on how to set that up in our HP ChemStation (version A.08.03) software. Anyone know how to accomplish this?

Now that you mention it, I've never seen a manual injector on an 1100.

The model before the 1100 had the manual injector as part of the column heater assembly.  As a start, try looking over the column heater to see if you can find a manual injector somewhere there.

Good luck.

We have often used manual injections on our 1100.  Is your question about software or hardware?
