Liquid Phenol reaction with anhydrous NaOH

Hi everyone,
The reaction of solid phenol and aqueous NaOH is well known, but how about the reaction of liquid phenol with anhydrous NaOH?
For example, if I melt phenol down to a liquid at around 50 deg C and  then add some piece of anhydrous NaOH to that liquid and then shake, then could a reaction take place? Would the NaOH got dissolved into the phenol?
I'm living in a rural area, so I can't do a experiment, anyone please help me out.

Yes there will be a reaction. The reaction will be stronger. Phenol is a weak acid and neutralize with NaOH to sodium phenolat.

*sodium phenolate, aka sodium phenoxide.
