Ideal gas laws - homework question
« on: November 25, 2018, 07:41:11 PM »
Hi people. I'm studying gas laws at the moment and this question arose in my homework. I'm completely stumped by how to approach it.

A chemistry student reports the following equation based on series of experiments that were performed at constant pressure for a sample of hydrogen:
V(ml) = 0.855×t(ml/°C) + 190.5(ml)
The teacher asks the student to either repeat the experiments, or redo the data interpretation. What would be the reason for the teacher to be skeptical of the results?

Any guidance much appreciated.
