Hello Chemistry experts, I really need your help.

I'm trying to put together a study guide on the techniques in atomic spectroscopy. I got a lot done, but I'm a little confused about how to rank their selectivity?

For example, among FAAS, GFAAS, ICP-AES, and ICP-MS, how would you rank their selectivity?

Typically for FAAS and GFAAS they are selective because of the light source used, right? Hollow Cathode Lamp provide very specific element-of-interest spectral lines. Yes? But, they do have to deal with spectral and chemical interferences. OK.

ICP-AES and ICP-MS are multi-element analytical techniques, so then, they are nonselective by default? Is that how I need to look at it?


Please help me understand selectivity potential among these techniques.
