Pt@CeO2 Nanopowder
« on: April 01, 2019, 04:28:20 PM »
I have a Pt@CeO2 nanopowder that a student in a different group synthesized. I am trying to figure out if there will be a way to disperse it in water. Does anyone have any suggestions? I am thinking about trying capping with citrate and sonicating with heat.

I suspect it might dissolve easier than you expect. I'd suggest sonicating first, sonicating with heat next, then citrate capping and sonicating with heat last.
Most Common Suggestions I Make on the Forums.
1. Start by writing a balanced chemical equation.
2. Don't confuse thermodynamic stability with chemical reactivity.
3. Forum Supports LaTex
