Line Structure for Oxolane
« on: February 09, 2019, 12:49:26 AM »
Hi idk if I'm just dumb but I need to draw the line structure (stereocentre zig zag drawing) of this compound which I think is cis-oxolane-2,5-diamine or THF whatever. I'm just confused going from that ring structure to line in this case. Here's a pic of it https://imgur.com/a/aFe7GJm

Five member cycloaliphatic and heterocycloaliphatic rings have a “folded envelope” structure in space and thus, the C-O bonds must be from the same side.

Cis means both amines are in the same plane so put both of them on wedge or dash
