galvanic cell
« on: February 12, 2010, 03:34:40 PM »
I need help about this exercise. The electromotive force of this galvanic cell is 0,592 v. The half-cell on the left presents an hydrogen electrode (Pressure= 1 atm) immersed in a HCl solution 0.01 M. The hal cell on the right presents a hydrogen electrode (Pressure= 1 atm) immersed in a NaOH solution 0.01 M. I nedd to know polarities and to calculate the ionic product of water. What can I do? I dont' understand the half-reactios!!! Thank you
