Just as a note, the link is just the definition for lactone.  It redirects you from Lactane to Lactone:

The correct Spelling of this word is: Lactone

Hmm, I'm sure that wasn't there first time I looked.

Do you (as in anyone) have a source? Most of the other chemical links I saw were typos of lactone, but I didn't think the one I posted was :-[
