Which type of bonding does Ba form upon solidification?
covalent network
ionic (I know for fact this is not the correct answer, but not why)
metallic
molecular
I thought Ba was an Ionic solid. The only other reasonable choice I can come up with is metallic. Can anyone else confirm this, and point me to their source for the info?
