I need to rank these gases according to how closely they resemble an ideal gas:
He, NH3, Ne, CO, N2
So I look at forces and at density and polarity. So I get from greatest to least:
He, Ne, N2, NH3, CO
but this is incorrect.
I know that He, Ne, N2 are nonpolar and solving for their density I get that He < Ne < N2
NH3 and CO are polar and solving for their density I get that NH3 < CO.
What am I doing wrong?
